TRIMET TYRANNY
Trimet, the Trimet app and the fare inspectors that harass innocent people suck. I will no longer give my money to this horrible system.
As a former employee, do you have any advice for a formal complaint? My daughter and I were harassed this morning, kicked off the train (with paid tickets). The inspectors belittled and taunted me, even saying "have a nice walk" as they followed me up to the top of the platform and the street. The issue was really that I challenged them when they asked us to leave the train. My daughter had a youth ticket and no ID. I explained that I was her mother, showed them personal photos in my wallet, medical cards with her name etc. apparently wasn't good enough and they thought my disagreement was enough to punish us to the full letter of the 'law'. It was a disgusting display of a God complex and abuse of authority.
I don't know what can be done about the "tristapo" as I call them, they operate like the German Gestapo did.
If your daughter is still in high school or less you can most likely get it thrown out.
Their behavior is another matter however, not sure what can be done about that unless you are willing to get a lawyer and sue for a civil rights violation.
Until somebody challenges these people in a court of law they just do what they want.
It's not easy to beat them in a court of law.
If you had two paid tickets why would they make you leave? That I don't get.
...until the next time you have to ride...blah blah blah...lol
ReplyDeleteU ride u put up with the tyranny. Thats a monopoly for ya
