1 day in jail for punching Trimet bus driver in the head

There ya go bus drivers, its right there for you to see for yourselves, and why do you care?

The incident was one of a handful that has concerned TriMet operators recently. Among them: A bus driver in October reported being punched in the face after he stopped his bus at the Washington Square Transit Center to photograph damage a passenger had done to the seats.

In December, a bus driver in the St. John's neighborhood was slugged 15 times in the head after she questioned a passenger about paying the correct fare.

  3. With a the same punishment as a moving violation. While if he did that to a cab driver, he'd get a felony...right now it's a joke, not a deterent.
