TRIMET'S WAR AGAINST ITS UNION EMPLOYEES

Trimet's management creates an 'unfunded liability' and now they want their workers to pay for their malfeasance. The Trimet board and executive class should be in jail instead of waging a war against its workers

The state Employment Relations Board has agreed to mediate the contract negotations between TriMet and the union representing most of its employees.
State Conciliator Janet Gillman will begin mediating discussions between the agency and the leadership of Amalgamated Transit Union 757 beginning Tuesday, April 8.
TriMet requested mediation services after lengthy negotiations failed to reach consensus on a contract agreement.

  1. Congratulation ATU 757!
The IOU in the contract you sold us is now worthless. Maybe another assessment is in order to pay for the gang to head back to Vegas for excessive alcohol and hookers.

  2. I would like to see full financial accounting of the assessment funds, I think we have a legal case here.
