Someone at TriMet may be unfamiliar with the system

UPDATE: All MAX lines are disrupted due to a power outage on the Steel Bridge. Use regular bus service to cross the river. Shuttle buses are running between Old Town/Chinatown, Union Square and Rose Quarter Transit Center.

All MAX lines are disrupted due to a power outage on the Steel Bridge. Use regular bus service to cross the river.

Shuttle buses are running between Kings Hill/SW Salmon and Gateway TC. Yellow Line shuttles are running between Rose Quarter and Alberta.
[why would buses go to Alberta as there's not even a station there?]

I can understand it was pretty hectic today, and humans make mistakes, but if you're going to send a formal alert out to the pubic (as in not just a dispatcher), take a moment and double check it makes sense.

Worse, the last alert was even sent out to e-mail subscribers (archived here) and posted to Twitter (archived here and below).
