There were major service cuts and the highest fare increases in history. Yet they were having ever increasing revenue. OPAL complained to the board of directors that the cuts and fare increases were not necessary. As usual the board ignored them. The board ignores everybody except the Trimet general manager. This historical chart of revenues shows that Trimet had no crisis, they completely made it up in order to go after their union employees. And what was that HUGE SPIKE in revenues in September, the exact same time as the cuts too place?
