Most Transit executives (Mcfarlane included) never take responsibility and never face the media alone after such a failure as the recent MBTA failure. Almost all of these over paid hacks hide behind their handpicked staffs to absorb the flack. Not this woman, she came out and had her say.

I can't remember another Transit executive at any American transit agency being as bold as she has been. Refreshing to say the least.
(she still should be fired however, sorry Beverly)
