I for the life of me can't understand why any public transit agency, which is funded by our tax dollars, is allowed to maintain a multimillion dollar marketing department who's sole responsibility is to come up with silly little 'feel good' ads like this: Love Stories on TriMet: An Essay Contest
It's a freaking public transit agency
That marketing money needs to be in the direct services account, not this silly shit!
Look at this crap they are giving away, all with your tax dollars:

Typically.......this type of stuff is provied by the merchant, as marketing itself. While I can't find if that's true here, I bet trimet didn't pay for any of it.
