Jonathan Hunt is long associated with ATU757 |
I've been accused by some of my associates of being part of the "Heintzman/Hunt" machine recently.
All that proves to me is that these associates of mine don't have the slightest clue who I am or what motivates me.
I actively campaigned against Ron Heintzman and Jonathan Hunt in the last election.
To insinuate that I am somehow connected to these people is insulting.
I want to make this clear, I have never ever talked to Jonathan Hunt except at official ATU events and I have never even met Ron Heintzman.

What I can tell you is that after 3 years of Bruce Hansen I really do miss Jonathan.
Despite his failings he had the guts to stand up to the sociopaths in charge of Trimet.
Jonathan was a leader, I'm not sure what Bruce is to be honest.
Once again al you seem to forget the great among of time and Bruce has spent in joint labor clearing the mounds of grievances that he inherited. If your complaint is that Bruce ressurected the joint labor process.we can go back to the process you support.I caution you that when two parties do not communicate our members are not represented.
ReplyDeleteI have no 'allegiance' to any individual person. I represent myself with these writings and follow events as an amateur historian would.
ReplyDeleteI saw Jon hunt leading protests. I saw Jon hunt standing up to Trimet board presidents.
We didn't see any of that in the 3 years that Bruce has been in charge.
All I've seen since Bruce took over is total capitulation with virtually no push back.
I'm sorry that upsets you, I always liked Bruce and still do.
But the results are in and I am not happy with them
One further comment, it was the Heintzman that got Trimet workers and retirees a very good contract especially at retirement.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame them for getting conned by the sociopaths that run the Trimet organization
They were lied to and they were fooled. Looking back over history John Hunt had every reason to not cooperate with the tri-Met administrators.
Trimet management abused their authority and tried to strangle union members in order to get this contract.
Is there any doubt in my mind that Trimet managers would have continued their jackboot philosophy? None whatsoever.
Maybe Bruce did the right thing, I am not the one to judge that but from my point of view I was sold out by him and that piece of shit company.
bruce played the peacemaker maybe that was needed at the time I don't know.
But when you are met with jackboot force The worst thing you can do is surrender.
Trimet management is as low as humans can go. They abuse their authority at every turn. They abuse their riders and their employees.
They lied to the retirees and for that there is no forgiveness
C-tran has a better retirement than Tri-met!
ReplyDeleteThese are the same people that stole $1,000,000 dollars as raises for themselves at the exact same time they raised fares and cut services all the while pleading poverty.
ReplyDeleteThey are liars and thieves, that's who they are let’s call a spade a spade.
These are the same people that concocted the phony criminal prosecution of Lane Jensen
Sociopaths are masters at influence and deception. Very little of what they say actually checks out in terms of facts or reality, but they're extremely skillful at making the things they say sound believable, even if they're just making them up out of thin air.
- Sociopaths are charming.
-Sociopaths are more spontaneous and intense than other people.
-Sociopaths are incapable of feeling shame, guilt or remorse.
-Sociopaths seek to dominate others and "win" at all costs.
-Sociopaths tend to be highly intelligent
-Sociopaths never apologize.
Sociopaths are masters are presenting themselves as heroes with high morals and philosophy, yet underneath it they are the true criminal minds in society who steal, undermine, deceive, and often incite emotional chaos among entire communities. They are masters at turning one group of people against another group while proclaiming themselves to be the one true savior.
Another very valuable red flag to recognize when trying to spot a sociopath is to see how they deal with attacks on their own integrity. If a sociopath is presented with a collection of facts, documents and evidence showing that he lied or deceived, he will refuse to address the evidence and, instead, attack the messenger!
Sounds like Bruce is a Sociopath too. Things to ponder, all he ever does is attack people if they try to say anything against what he is trying to do, because he knows best. He constantly double talks, yet at the end doesn't say much of anything. He mastered turning one group against the other and I believe he has been doing it for years. Who else but Bruce and his followers has campaigned for years about how bad Hunt/Heintzman are? All the while splitting the membership into fragments and why? Because it was about "Bruce" getting elected, if you look at his record he certainly doesn't care about the membership. Who else but Bruce and his followers thinks this contract is "all we deserve" or "all we could get"? I believe that would be Bruce and his supporters, Bruce didn't even fight for us. Who else but Bruce and his followers think this contract was a "win", Bruce said to people "members just want a contract" it doesn't matter what they lose, I gave them what they wanted, it's their fault they voted for it. Who else but Bruce has said "you had choices for your medical" I can't help it if you chose that one, didn't you read the information, you made the choice.
ReplyDeleteSociopaths are masters of deception, very little of what they say actually checks out in terms of facts or reality, but they're extremely skillful at making the things they say sound believable, even if they're just making them up out of thin air. Hmmm Sounds like Bruce! And he certainly would never apologize for the blocked runs, the contract lies at the "informational meeting", the lies at the table to the wage committee, Kaiser won't go up! Ha!
You guys should stop practicing psychiatry with out a license??????
ReplyDeleteWhat fun would that be?
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty I think Bruce did what he thought was the right thing.
ReplyDeleteThat thing being attempting to soften Trimet management. I can even understand why he did it.
But he gave away too much and he got nothing in return.
I would say that Bruce was conned as badly as Jon was conned when John gave away the right to strike.
Bruce did the exact same thing believing whatever promises they made to him at the time. All of which will be forgotten next time around.
John Hunt learned that lesson the hard way.
Bruce would have to stay in office for another three years before he learns that particular lesson.
