DID YOU KNOW NOT PAYING YOUR TRIMET FARE CAN LEAD TO GARNISHEMENT?

 

Well here's a new one that I have never heard before.

A pal of mine just got 'warrant for garnishment' from the Oregon Department of Revenue.

Its for a TriMet citation from TEN YEARS AGO!

I don't know what the fine was 10 years ago for fares.....

.....but I know it wasn't more than $175.

He doesn't recall getting the citation and has never heard a thing about this UNTIL NOW!

OUT OF THE BLUE!

Now "they" want $1400!
