SEE PDX SCANNER FOR TRIMET BUS CALLS
I'm getting tired of listening to the brutality that is today's TriMet so I won't be posting these calls for awhile.
But have no fear you can still listen to these calls by going to @REALPDXSCANNER on Twitter and scrolling through his feed
Oh no! But I certainly understand, Al. I want to express my appreciation once again for your taking the time these past years to post the scanner feed ...I was so impressed that you did it daily almost without exception. It was entertaining beyond description to read your comments as you described each call. I also really found it enjoyable to note the acronyms you use and the nicknames you came up with --I'm still not sure of how "the go ahead" got that description but I hone in on her calls immediately when I see you made that notation and even though she has to be a pain in the ass to the dispatchers and the vast majority of her calls are unnecessary, she has an intriguing personality.
I'm not a twitter person. Being a real old fart, I've never understood Twitter or how to use it so to this day I have not had an account. The concept just baffles me with all the hashtags, etc. I guess that I'm the only one left in the world who doesn't use Twitter.
So thanks again, Al. All that work you did was much appreciated. It was eye-opening to me as to what is going on out there on the buses as I've been away from it for so long (I'm really glad I retired when I did!). I was addicted to listening to the radio calls from the day before every night after dinner but I'll get over it and find something more wholesome to do with my evenings, LOL.
Thanks for that nice comment I'll be back just need a little break from this shit-it's pissing me off too much! Maybe I'll come back much sooner than planned just for you!
