Thursday, March 21, 2013 Tri-Met posts dead e-mail address for fed funding comments

Another JACK BOGDANSKI investigation.

Tri-Met's agenda -- mostly about more rail to nowhere

Here's an interesting document from Portland's insolvent transit agency. It lays out some spending plans for its federal handouts over the next fiscal year, about $185 million in all. The list appears to be required by some federal law, because the Tri-Metters seem to want it to go away quickly and quietly:
TriMet is offering an opportunity to submit comments or request a Public Hearing on the proposed Program of Projects described in this notice. If anyone requests a Public Hearing it will be at TriMet on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. If no one requests a Public Hearing, it will not be held. Please submit your comments or request a Public Hearing by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 via email to federalfunding@trimet.org.

Who does Lenny Anderson work for?

Lenny doing the bike thing.
Lenny Anderson and I have been dooking it out on Portland Transport for years. In case you don't know who Lenny is, he is a transit 'advocate' and connected to  the 'in crowd' in Portland's transit world. (a place that I am not welcomed of course)

Anyway Lenny purports to be on the side of the workers however every single chance he gets he posts how the union has to let go of the health benefit.
And he doesn't do this once or twice, its constant with him.
The only place that I see that sort of behavior is the Trimet ministry of Propaganda which inserts the health union benefits nonsense on every single place it will fit.

Something was brought to my attention on Lenny, this is him at a Trimet event:

This is Lenny wearing an 'official' trimet outfit confirming there is some sort of connection between him and Trimet. This picture was taken in 1998 BTW so his connection with Trimet goes back pretty far.

MORE HORSE SHIT FROM NEIL MCFARLANE

Last friday, Neil McFarlane held a Q&A session with 14 randomly picked riders to discuss whatever. No method to how these people were picked or if they are even riders. You'll just have to take his word for that.

Into Federal court we go!

Former TriMet driver and prolific blogger Al Margulies has filed a multimillion-dollar class action lawsuit against the transit agency, alleging unfair labor practices.
On Wednesday, TriMet's lawyer filed a motion to move the case from Multnomah County Circuit Court to Oregon District Court, saying the suit is a federal question.

NEILS BULLSHIT

Didn't this asshat have this meeting at 7am or something as ridiculous as that?
Rider Q & A at our first “Coffee with Neil” | How We Roll

Just found something very strange here, according to the  PORTLAND TRIBUNE
Trimet has 141 non union employees.

But the bullshitter in charge said the following at his little 'coffee with Neil' event

Pay raises for non-union staff: It was clear that what riders heard in the news was not the full story. These raises went to our 440 non-union employees, most not in management roles. The vast majority of these employees had their salaries frozen for 3 ½ years, and they have been paying more for their health care coverage.(people earning six figures do not need a raise) I made this decision to be fair to these hard-working public servants (you mean your cronies don't you) who play a critical role keeping our agency and our transit system running.(if none of them showed up the public would never notice) While we informed our Board of Directors and community groups(COMMUNITY GROUPS? SHEESHUS!)of this decision at the time, we certainly can and will be more transparent about changes such as these in the future.(and you are a fucking liar Neil Mcfarlane)

We will never see on of these from TRIMET
