This app is well known as a faulty design. Trimet once again shows total disrespect for its riders

This testimony pretty much lets us know that Trimet won't be coming after our medical benefits this time around.

But he does say that Trimet will take a 'more incremental' approach in the future. In other words they will be back.

Two consecutive losses for union employees have hurt. My pension was cut 20% because of those givebacks. And that's not including any medical services which if I needed them, would also come out of my puny pension now. We retired with the best medical. Now we got standard insurance

Many of us retired thinking our medical would be payed.  Guess what? We got screwed big time. The same kind of screwing the Greeks got. Mainstream media refused to cover it. Mainstream media has been doing a hatchet job on Trimet union employees for close to a decade now.

Although me and Jefferey had a falling out last election there was a time we were very good pals! 

He was the man that stood by me as Trimet tried its best to bully me into submission.

He was a major influence on the blog and there are many references to his struggles documented here.

Since he has decided to retire from ATU757 official representation I thought it would be a good time to re-post some of the  material

Blog regular Steve Fung happened to run into Trimet general manager Neil Mcfarlane on the MAX on the way to the airport.
(I actually ran into Neil once at the airport myself)
 Neil was on his way to Denver while Steve was on his way to to Columbus.

They had a very nice chat on the train and it was Neil that came up to Steve.

 (do readers even know that Neil Mcfarlane is the man responsible for "all" the light rail in Portland? Its true!)
