| BRUCE WARNER WAS PART OF "THE CLUB" |
Bruce Warner is now off the board one year after his term expired.
His last act was to side with the "white block" of the Trimet board and approve the 7 year $98 million dollar police state funding.
All the minority board members asked for an extension, all the white establishment members voted no extensions. The vote was tied, which means the motion failed.
Warner was a career technocrat and has been in numerous positions within the government technocracy.
He has a fat pension as well as a "private" "consulting" firm.
He exemplified everything wrong with Oregon/Portland government. It's a club of insiders enabling each other to steal as much as possible from the public trough.
He enabled Neil Mcfarlanes THEFT from trimet when he was general manager and he stole a backdoor raise for Kelsey by adding another month of vacation just before he was going to resign. Obviously Warner knew Kelsey was going to leave.
Good riddance to Bruce Warner, the insiders insider.
Now the board will be majority "minorities".
That doesn't translate into progressive action however there is a much better chance of that happening now.
Both Keith Edwards and Kathy Wei seem to be genuine progressives. Not sure about Ozzie.
Remember, the Trimet board of directors is not responsible to the people using or operating the system. Furthermore we know the purpose of government is crime, stealing from the many to enrich the few.
Trimet is nothing but another government entity after all.
With the departure of Kelsey and Warner and the appointment of "interim" GM Desue "they" now have a totally different look to the Trimet. Will it actually mean anything? That is yet to be proved.

WARNER IS NOT GONE AFTER ALL! HE WILL BE THERE UNTIL JUNE!
