Looks like boregonian is waiting to approve my comment or something (further evidence that they really have no idea what the hell they're doing); so here it is -
"When Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney Chuck Sparks asked Morgan if he knew of any transit bus that doesn’t have similarly configured mirrors and pillars, he said no."

This is total BS - just go 10 miles up the road and you'll find this mirror configuration.
Why go 10 miles up the road?
The Multnomah County Courthouse is located on the Transit Mall, which hosts C-Tran buses.
Where, you'll find plenty of these passing just feet outside the courtroom:

Completely different mirror placement, pillar...and these buses run right past the freakin' Courthouse.
