PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - A man and woman were arrested after a TriMet bus driver was stabbed in the leg Monday night in Northeast Portland.
Portland police responded to the area near Northeast 27th Avenue and Northeast Saratoga Street at about 11 p.m. after a bus driver reported being stabbed.

As long as people keep saying everything is lovely and "they did their best" there will be no movement to change things for the better.
TRIMET is a failed transit agency and has subjected its dependent riders to tremendous misery, and now with their endless hubris they are about to impose a fare increase onto the backs of the poorest people in the district.
Olivia Huerta said she rode a bus and two trains in an effort to get from Portland's waterfront to her home in Fairview. Huerta said that second train stopped at The Gateway Transit Center.
"The conductor said “there’s a car stuck on the tracks, so we’re going to be ceasing service and there is currently no bridge service,” meaning a shuttle to get us from one point to the next, and that I think when he said that last part, that’s what really scared me," she said.

A bus driver for TriMet is talking to FOX 12 and claims drivers aren’t equipped for winter weather, and something needs to change.
The employee says drivers for the transit agency were very unprepared for last week’s harsh winter weather.
The media is downplaying this event even in this story but those of us that have been listening to the event know exactly how badly the drivers were treated, actually tortured, during this event
