DEAR WES RIDERS..(crazy huh?)

Dear WES riders,
Have you ever played with the sculpture heads at your WES station? Have you ever met someone or had a nice interaction with someone you didn’t know while playing with the heads? Please let us know!

The TriMet public art program has been invited to make a presentation to a national arts conference on the WES Interactivators (aka sculpture heads) and we want to share your experiences with the group.

Please send us your story, pictures or even a video and help us dazzle the artworld! Send to priestem@trimet.org by June 10. First 10 WES riders who have played with the sculptures and respond to this request will receive a free WES Interactivators art catalogue.

Hey I'm still a WES rider as of the end of this week!

I want one of those catalogues :)

Well go play with the heads then and make a video of it!

More endless money spent on WES trying to prop it up.

Meanwhile, King County and LACMTA are actually asking BUS riders what they think: TriMet simply ignores them. When's the last time TriMet actually did any promotion of the bus system - I see lots of free stuff for WES riders, lots of free stuff for MAX, free breakfast for bike riders...what about bus riders?

The college town of Athens, Georgia has a program where they're turning bus stops into art installations. Check out REMHQ.com to see more. TriMet are you listening? In our dreams...
