BREAKING NEWS: SAM NOT LEAVING
Just ran into Sam Desue, Jr., leaving a meeting and told him I heard he was leaving. He said that he has 2.5 years to go and to tell the people who think he is leaving that they are wrong. I wanted to ask to get him on video saying that but didn't know if that was doable.
Didn't really introduce myself and I don't think he really has seen me (unlike Fred or Neil).

I’ve been reading these documents for over a decade pic.twitter.com/Uzjt83R9yZ
This is $20 million higher than last year!

Do I have dementia or something? I thought they were supposed to be cuts? pic.twitter.com/SDCYAr3WaE
Something must be wrong with my brain because the TRANSPORTATION BUDGET for this upcoming year is HIGHER than last year?
— Al M (@AlYourPalster) March 13, 2026
How’s that possible with service cuts? pic.twitter.com/cG80LFf3Rb
ync src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8">TouchΓ© TriMet, you figured out how I was able to bust through your bullshit and made it virtually impossible to compare this budget with last year’s budget!
— Al M (@AlYourPalster) March 13, 2026
But answer me this: why is this years budget HIGHER than last years budget when you are supposedly running a deficit? pic.twitter.com/qPtLfFRV2Z
Hahahaha
— Al M (@AlYourPalster) March 13, 2026
Look at what these mofo’s have done!
They changed their pie chart so you can’t see the actual amount being spent per category
