Neil Mcfarlane finally cashes my check

Regular readers will recall that I filed a small claim against Mr Mcfarlane for illegally holding onto our health insurance rebate after a court demanded that Trimet refund it.
Unfortunately I forgot that small claims can be brought into civil court if the amount is over $600, needless to say Trimet brought the claim over there. I probably should have pursued this further but it most likely would have involved additional out of pocket expenses and still end up with me losing, so I surrendered and lost the case by default.

Anyway the court ordered me to pay Mcfarlane $150 in punitive damages. I actually went to the board meeting to give him his check. Like this guy needs my $150. We know how he is, and I said as much at the board meeting, GRAB WHAT YOU CAN NEIL, hey its MURICA, isn't that what Murican's do? Grab everything they can? My highly inflammatory and probably my last presentation ever (unless they try to steal from us again) to the Trimet sock puppets is below

Trimet "attitude" survey

In 2013 Trimet paid DHM RESEARCH (a local Portland company)to conduct an survey of the public's opinion on Trimet. 
As with every single study  that has been paid by Trimet it comes out pretty positive. 
This report states that 66% of respondents think Trimet is doing the right thing.
Apparently that is down from 75%.
There has never been a report that was commissioned by Trimet that came back critical of Trimet. (at least not that I know of). This 'report' was based on telephone calls to 1000 Portland residents. I have no  idea how 1000 random calls can be called 'statistically accurate' for anything. 
I have no faith in anything that is published by 'our' government, Trimet included.
I post it only as Trimet material that is relevant to the topic. We do know one thing for sure about Trimet, they will never publish any document that is negative of the agency. Anybody from within the agency that publishes anything negative is quickly penalized.

Portland light rail mafia news

Washington County is hurrying ahead with a commitment to spend money on light rail planning, possibly to blunt the impact of an initiative petition that could limit such spending.
That charge is being leveled by Tigard resident Tim Esau, the chief petitioner for a measure that would require a countywide vote before any significant amounts of money could be spent planning, designing or building high-capacity rail or bus facilities in the county.
Esau made his comments after learning that the Washington County Board of Commissioners is scheduled Feb. 17 to approve an intergovernmental agreement with Metro committing the county to spend $900,000 over the next two years on planning that includes possible light rail or high-capacity bus options.
"They are really scrambling to get their money in place," Esau said. "It's frustrating to see them just marching on with business as usual."

It appears that Mr Mcfarlane has been going around 'shaking hands' with various employees at various locations.

When he got to the Merlo garage one of the 30 year mechanics refused to shake his hand and the following exchange took place:

"I can't shake your hand Mr Mcfarlane because you have stolen from my family. I don't want to hear anything you have to say."

Pure Trimet propaganda

As we can see the mainstream media is dutifully playing back the latest Trimet public relations stunt. Hard to not think fondly of Trimet after watching this.
Obviously "trimet" has nothing to do with this couple getting married. 
 Hell, people meet in millions of places but those places don't sponsor cheap public relations stunts like Trimet does.

 They are so good at these sorts of public relations stunts, its incredible to watch from my point of view. And the public just east this stuff up like its an ice-cream cone from Salt and Straw.

Interestingly enough it sounds like Trimet even cheeped out on this couples award.  The couple paid for its own "Honeymoon package" (at least that's what I hear)

Any bus driver that is "in tears" should not be on the road

It should be SOP that any driver that shows emotional distress should be relieved for the remainder of the day. How do you allow someone who is emotionally upset to continue driving. Just more proof that drivers are not valued employees
