The Eastside Streetcar opens on the 22nd of September and the city is going all-out. They're having essentially a giant worship ceremony with vendors and free streetcar and speeches and effing museums. It's crazy how many tax-payer dollars are not going to good use to go to this. DESPICABLE...

Will TriMet splurge for a huge party for a bus...agh, of course not. Only trains get parties.
I would hope that TriMet would, even unceremoniously, open a completely new bus line on 148th or something. I'd love for OPAL to throw a party for the opening of that bus line.
