As MAX Blue Line turns 25, we celebrate those people who have laid the tracks for TriMet.
Last year TriMet turned 40. Where's the hoopla for the "Bus Rangers" who helped start up TriMet back in 1969?
TriMet, of course, fails to mention that most of the Lloyd District development consists of government offices - the Convention Center, Metro Headquarters, the Bonneville Power Administration, the State Office Building, the Federal Office Building, and the Port of Portland used to be there for many years.
