Flatpicker John's profound comment

Why is this profound? Well, it may be exactly true!
I was wondering myself about the brutal fare inspections, signs on fare boxes advising riders that they could be denied boarding without providing fares, the general state of disarray of Trimet these days etc etc.

Could it actually be part of a 'master plan' to turn the riders against the employees? And in doing so lead the the end of the union itself?  I myself don't think its so far fetched. After all, the only faces the public gets to see are the faces of the union employees is that not correct?

It's absolutely correct. And that being the case which set of employees will take the wrath of the disgruntled riders? You got it, its the union employees. Never underestimate the ruthless cunning of our  Trimet executives.

Conspiracy theorists of the world, believers in the hidden hands of the Rothschilds and the Masons and the Illuminati, we skeptics owe you an apology. You were right. The players may be a little different, but your basic premise is correct: The world is a rigged game.
