I've only been driving solo since Dec. 1, 2019, and when my classmates gathered for our probationary classes, I heard stories from several of them about Little Leon. I haven't had the pleasure of his acquaintance yet. Later I found out from a senior driver that Leon was at the time excluded. I noticed how the dispatcher in this call said something about "I don't know if you know, but Leon is excluded...". That's what gripes me - how are we supposed to know? No one tells us who is excluded, and I don't know if there is anywhere to access this important information.
Sometimes we get messages on the MDT with descriptions of people we shouldn't allow to board for various reasons. Sometimes I'm able to recognize people from the descriptions (usually AFTER they've already been on my bus), but sometimes I'll see someone previously described who mostly matches the description, but it's usually not definitive enough to be able to say, "Oh, I'm sorry, you're not allowed on my bus", so I have to take the chance of letting a potentially dangerous person on board.
