TRIMET BOARD MEETING AGENDA

YOU CAN WATCH THE MEETING HERE

RESOLUTION NO. 21-05-18 OF THE TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITANTRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON (TRIMET)ELECTING TRIMET BOARD OFFICERS AND CONFIRMINGTRIMET COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS

Warner is FINALLY getting off this board after 9 years! He's been the real power behind the throne and been intractable in  destabilizing the union and union benefits. I consider him arch enemy #1 of the union employees. He is a consummate  Portland  insider holding various executive positions in multiple governmental technocracies. Kitzhaber installed him as the chairmen and kicked Rick Van Beveran to the curb. Good riddance to him. Don't expect anything to change however

RESOLUTION NO. 21-05-19 OF THE TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITANTRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON (TRIMET)AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH MEKETA INVESTING GROUPINC. FOR DEFINED BENEFIT PLANS INVESTMENT ADVISORYSERVICES

TriMet has a need for a contractor to provide advisory and fiduciary services in support of the investments and management of two pension funds: (1) The Defined Benefit Pension Plan for Bargaining Unit Employees of TriMet and (2) the TriMet Defined Benefit Retirement Plan for Management and Staff Employees-why they need this I do not know, but its $850,000

RESOLUTION NO. 21-05-20 OF THE TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON (TRIMET) AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH TAIT COMMUNICATIONS FOR RADIO SYSTEM MANAGED SERVICES

TriMet entered into the previous contract with Harris, who subcontracted the work to Tait. This was the result of a strategic partnership between Harris and Tait, under which North American entities could no longer contract directly with Tait. That partnership has since ended and North American entities may now contract with Tait. Therefore, this Resolution authorizes a sole-source contract for radio network managed services by Tait, as the only authorized service provider for Tait products.

What a crazy pork barrel this is

RESOLUTION 21-05-21 OF THE TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITANTRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON (TRIMET)AUTHORIZING THE MODIFICATION OF ANINTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OFPORTLAND FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENTSERVICES FOR THE DIVISION TRANSIT PROJECT

This is the Division Street pork barrel and gentrification project filling lots of pockets along the way
