Now, I must say that when I was brand new, I called EVERYTHING into dispatch. I remember pissing off a bus load of folks on 82nd as I pulled over to call in about a guy who was jaywalking just south of Sandy and slamming his backpack on the hoods of cars. I now know that these things are a common occurrence and that I am not only wasting my passengers’ time, but I may also be wasting dispatching time by calling in the normal crazy shit that just seems to happen all the time around town. So I’ve been trying to get better at this. I’ve actually stood by and watched a car ram a car in front of it twice, and didn’t call it in. It had nothing to do with me or the bus—I had to stay on schedule. I also saw a guy brandish a big, shiny gun, pointing it across the street like a gangster in Old Town and didn’t call it in. But this time I had to call it in. It was just too abnormal.BRIDGE CITY BUS DRIVER! https://t.co/Aw170Gen0a
