TRIMET CRIMINAL CLASS CONTINUES STEALING AS MUCH AS THEY CAN

So here we have a transit system that has totally failed its public and at the same time rewarding themselves with even more money. These people haven't event even come to work in the last two years. There ya go folks, your tax dollars at work, being stolen right in front of your eyes while they fail you in every way possible

Hello non-union employees, I appreciate you! I appreciate all you do to keep TriMet moving and on track for the future! The leadership team and I want to acknowledge that hard work, and we want you to know you are valued. That is why I'm thrilled to announce a 5.5% salary increase for nearly all non-union employees. (these people have been sitting at home the last two years meanwhile the drivers only got 3 % raise out in the field)

This will bring our salaries more in line with the market (there is no "market" these unelected/accountable career technocrats create their own market)
as we further evaluate our pay structures and total compensation. (there is no end to the criminality at TriMet)

In the highly competitive labor market, we want you to stay a part of Team TriMet. We understand work environment and pay go a long way in making you happy and content. That’s why we’ve incorporated telework for many of you, based on your position and business needs, and now the salary increase.

It comes on the heels of increasing the employer contribution to your Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plan from 8% to 10%. The Board approved that increase in April and it became effective starting with the first pay period in May 2022. Concerning the salary increase, efforts have been made in the past several years to better align our salary grades with the market.

Yet in today’s competitive landscape, our salary ranges have fallen behind, (LIARS) so TriMet is adjusting those structures and implementing the across-the-board increase.

The 5.5% increase to base pay for non-union employees will ensure that we are maintaining a competitive salary in this volatile market.

Those employees hired or promoted since December 27, 2021, have already had their pay adjusted using the new salary structure, but the rest of you will see your salary increase effective with your June 22 paycheck. It is important to note that the 5.5% increase is separate from the annual merit increase (THIS IS ON TOP OF THE PAY INCREASES THEY ALREADY HAS GOTTEN) that is on the horizon related to performance. Performance appraisals for merit increases begin this month.

TriMet will continue to assess our compensation program, which will include a consultant’s (PAINFUL TO BEAR WITNESS TO THIS LEVEL OF CORRUPTION)  review to ensure we are using best practices within the industry and region. We need to stay competitive and ensure our employees are justly compensated for your hard work and dedication.

While the agency is moving forward on salary increases for non-union employees, our Labor Relations team has been working with ATU 757 leadership. (WILDCAT YOU FUCKING UNION LOSERS)We want to make sure we are staying competitive and justly compensating our represented staff as well. Any increase on the union side will occur through negotiation on the Working Wage Agreement, and talks are ongoing. You may view your new salary in employee self-service closer to the June 22 check. View a list of frequently asked questions here, and if you have any additional questions, please reach out to your manager or contact the Compensation team member below for your work group. (Please do not contact the Payroll team.) Thank you for all you do and for going the extra mile!
