“Last night, the entire bus didn’t show,” said Sue Hanson, who gets on the bus at Southeast 157th Avenue and gets off in downtown. “It’s fine if it’s every 12 minutes, but if it doesn’t show up, what difference does it make? I don’t care if I get there faster, I just want to get there.”
TriMet dispatch logs obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive show the FX2 line encountered more than 400 notable service disruptions in its first seven weeks of service. Between its Sept. 18 launch and Nov. 8, those disruptions added up to more than three days’ worth of service hours when things weren’t working as expected.
