MAX Orange/Yellow lines northbound experiencing up to 20 minute delays thru 9:30 p.m. from earlier collision between a train and shopping cart near SE 17th & Rhine.
Not enough staff, especially at night, to inspect for damage and do all the paperwork that’s required when ANY kind of collision happens. They need to get their shit together for sure, this is one indication of huge systemic problems at Trimet.
Trimet is hemorrhaging operators and other employees because you treat them like crap. The train isn’t safe/clean because you refuse to back up your safety policies with action,then micromanage your operators and admonish them when they ask for help with dangerous riders.

I like proof-of-payment better than fare gates. When TriMet checks fares, if you haven't paid, instead of a ticket, they should just charge you for a Day Pass and move on.
