PETE TAYLOR SUBJECTED TO TRIMET TORTURE TREATMENT ON HIS WAY OUT

Not every employee of the District is subjected to the TRIMET TORTURE TREATMENT.
Good little worker bees have nothing to fear from TriMet management.
Just make sure you don't do anything wrong and show up every day and they will stay away from you.

But bring any unwanted attention to the District, do something wrong that embarrasses the district, or operate as an independent thinking human being and you become a target for the TRIMET TORTURE TREATMENT.

Much of the torture that is inflicted on worker bees that don't quite fit into the mold of  TriMet's profile of what a worker is supposed to be  is inflicted in the form of PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE.

THERE WERE A COUPLE OF PROFOUND STATEMENTS IN THE BODY OF PETE TAYLOR'S SPEECH;

When Pete was describing Betsy he stuck in this interesting sentence:

Re Betsy; She shows that being kind and considerate is an excellent and productive way to get the work done;

NOW-> NOT LIKE MY MOST RECENT MANAGER, HE PUTS HIS BOOT ON THE NECK OF HIS EMPLOYEES AND STANDS THERE TILL THEY SQUEAL LIKE PIGS.
I wanted to ask him how that was working out but his arrogance prevents him from understanding such things

After Pete's latest medical incident he asked for "reasonable accommodation" to be allowed to work till September.

Here's how 'his manager' (that must be A.M. ) responded:

"He marked me AWOL and said that if I didn't retire today I would lose my job and my pension"

How's that for loyalty and empathy for 42 years of service to THE DISTRICT?
