TRIMET OPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Well it is true that Jon Hunt, Evette Farra and Sam Schwarz did not show. People there included Sandra Guengerich (Center Street Executive Board), Jeff Ackerson (Merlo Executive Board) and Khris Alexander (Powell Executive Board). Sandy did step up to the podium and say a few words. She commented that Jon, Evette and Sam were not able to attend because they had a meeting to tend to the Unfair Labor Practice case that is coming up. TriMet board member was also there and Sandy stated directly to the board that everyone needs to just get back to the table and start talking together. She said other things and I don’t recall the other stuff. I do have to say there was a room full of people and not many people knew about a boycott that was supposed to have happen.
