I can't remember the name of the company but there is a company that makes similar electronic kiosks for outdoor applications.The company says that the installed kiosks that get the greatest use are those at BUS STOPS.There's also "Transit TV" which is a passive service but also provides real-time transit information via a wireless IP link.
