Joe Ruffin understands the seriousness of the situation

I've been absent from writing articles in the past couple of months. I do apologize for that. Every time I sat down to write an article no joyful thoughts were coming to mind. My mother used to say "if you don't have something good to say then don't say anything at all" upper management seems to be emitting A strong scent of sulfur into the air lately. So before we start negotiations let us pray"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.......................""""""

I believe the prayer was symbolic not literal

There is nothing wrong with prayer and faith.

I think Joe Ruffin is great and should be an executive officer.

It sounds to me like he is talking about the imminent death of the union if I am reading that right

Al, For all the good reporting and whistleblowing that you do here, you still have a penchant for self-defeating pessimism (ie. until recently you used to give Trimet oligarchy way too much credit as far as intelligence goes. Being greedy, self-serving union busters does not take intelligence, just hubris and malice.). I think Joe was just saying the same thing that Hugo Chavez said about our war criminal ex Prez, W Bush, that the smell of sulfur follows him around.

There is no place for religion in discussions about public agencies or unions. Religion is for people to hide behind who don't have common decency and morals.

Amazing how worked up some people get over the stupidest shit. So he said a prayer, so what?
Does that have anything to do with the fact that the company is trying to wipe us out? I'd be praying too if my employer was actively trying to wipe out my retirement benefits .

The point being, your benefits are going down the drain. Wish, Pray, cross your fingers what ever you do.

I just find the statement funny about how there is no place for religion. This person does no know history and how the founding fathers prayed together and use their religious believes to guild them to write one of the best documents in the history of man, Our constitution and our Bill of Rights. All biassed on the 10 commandments. They prayed before they ate and before some of their meeting. Whether you believe or not it is just a fact that religion was used to form our form of government. Remember they did not say no religion in politics they said the state will no have a chosen religion. Marketing all religious beliefs welcome here.

David Christensen make lots of assumptions about how other people feel, he believes in fairy tales and make believe idols and he can't spell worth shit.
