TRIMET MAX LINES GENTRIFYING NEIGHBORHOODS
Of course we all know that was the intent of all this Trimet social engineering. Nothing to do with transit everything to do with property development
“But, the dark side of gentrification is the resulting involuntary displacement which takes a number of forms. In Portland, the impacts are felt most heavily by low-income renters. Homes that were once rented are sold to purchasers who plan on living in the home, displacing the former tenants. New people coming into the neighborhood are willing to pay greater amounts for the homes, rents increase displacing those unable to bear the increase. Residents are forced to look elsewhere for housing they can afford,” the paper said.

SIX NEW BUSES TO GO INTO SERVICE ON
TUESDAY
TRIMET 'OFFICIAL' NEWS
A: About a month ago TriMet crews finished replacing our oldest ticket machines with new Type-6 machines. Now more than 50 percent of the 213 ticket machines along the MAX and WES systems are new. Thanks to the culmination of the new machines, software upgrades and fixes, and dedicated work groups who identify issues and speed up improvements, complaints about ticket machine transactions dropped 50 percent in June from the previous 12-month average. That’s the lowest level of complaints in at least the past six years. Validators and bill acceptors are also being replaced and upgraded. For more read the news feed at news.trimet.org.
There had been a significant drop in tweets and dispatch calls relating to TVM's over the last couple of months.
But once again I have noticed that these calls and tweets are on the increase so the 'fix' might not be as effective as first thought!

Somehow I knew that was why he stabbed the driver. It's the same reason the other driver got stabbed I believe

“We take each of these incidents very seriously and are grateful our operator is recovering,” said TriMet’s Executive Director of Safety & Security Harry Saporta. “As we add more patrols along the area where our operator was assaulted, we look forward to working with our community partners on both short-term and long-term solutions to help keep our operators, our riders, and the neighbors feel safe as they go about their daily lives.”
It's rather funny that the life of an operator is valued the same as a piece of EQUIPMENT

Yet that dictator in charge Mcfarlane continues in his war against his own employees! We will never know the exact extent that Mcfarlanes badmouthing Trimet operators has contributed to these vicious assaults. We do know it has had an effect on peoples consciousness. Many people are under the mistaken belief that Trimet operators are overpaid and over compensated hence they have built up resentment towards transit workers.
And that resentment boils over into physical attacks.
The 'richest health care package', you want to be a bus driver you had better have good health care
