“We take each of these incidents very seriously and are grateful our operator is recovering,” said TriMet’s Executive Director of Safety & Security Harry Saporta. “As we add more patrols along the area where our operator was assaulted, we look forward to working with our community partners on both short-term and long-term solutions to help keep our operators, our riders, and the neighbors feel safe as they go about their daily lives.”

It's rather funny that the life of an operator is valued the same as a piece of  EQUIPMENT
