Mcfarlane out smarts me

He asks for a jury trial, you know how long it will take to schedule that.
And how am I supposed to represent myself in civil court?
I guess I'll figure it out.

There is NO WAY to beat these people.
THEY ALWAYS COME OUT ON TOP!

The lesson to the rest of you is that YOU CANNOT SUE MCFARLANE IN SMALL CLAIMS-he will make it a civil case!

Seek free law advice. Maybe even find a lawyer from the International.I am sure they have one on retainer.

Good advice-I'll definitely look into that

I still think you have a good case with the ERB ruling as evidence. I would look in to getting a lawyer and pursue it.

If you get a lawyer and win he has to pay your attorney fees

Interesting the sleezebag still finds a way to pass the buck. Notice its a personal lawsuit against him, but hes using a TriMet lawyer to defend! I cry conflict of interest.

Try to get it on Judge Judy Al! She'd smack him around but good and he might buy it so he doesn't have to pay anything and would get a free trip to LA. I'm sure he can put hookers on his executive titanium Amex card! Win Win....

There's safety in numbers, and specticle in a show-down. If I were Grand Poobah, I'd be facilitating every union brother's or sister's small claim for every little thing that crook has done, and will do. The specticle of hundreds of small claims would get some major attention from like-minded legal eagles and judges (yes, they're out there), and may turn a governors head or two, as well. The more people who find out how this rogue bureaucrat is wasting taxpayer dollars in his little war on workers the more who will be calling, "Off with his head!" But, that's just me...

He would never agree to do a Judge Judy type show.

I am thinking of re-suing him though.

I'm going to refile for $260, That's the cost of the two suits together.

I'll say to the judge he intentionally turned the trial into civil knowing that I can't do that on my own so I want re-reimbursement for my first suit and the second suit.

I still have the same evidence.

HE CAN'T ASK FOR JURY TRIAL IF THE COST OF THE SUIT IS UNDER $700.
