But US News and World Reports has just examined the factual data and ranks Portland #1 City, in the ENTIRE US of A!
And part of that rating is number of safety incidents per million trips!
Could our general manager be wrong about our "culture of safety?"
I have been saying all along that there was nothing wrong with our culture!
And now it appears that I have been proven right by none other than US NEWS AND WORLD REPORTS!
Is it possible that a minor blogger could know more about the culture of Trimet than a guy who has worked in capital projects for 2 decades?

Hey wait a minute... Isn't the public led to believe that ALL TriMet drivers make 90 to 100K a year and don't have to contribute one single dime to their healthcare insurance? Now you want to say that this "culture of safety" thing might be a little overblown too. What about Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the endless capital projects that are so necessary? Don't tell me they've been deceiving us all this time.
