This new signage – the first part of a larger initiative to update all bus stop signs – brings Nextrip information to each and every bus stop in the system. It’s a project that shows Metro’s commitment to the real time arrival system by making sure that all riders are aware of the service and have access to the neccessary information.

Funny how TriMet is completely backtracking on this - went to the expense of installing the new bus stop signs with the signholders, only to remove most of the schedule signs.
Those that remain are so worthless, or are outdated.
I like how LA includes a QR code. Just last week I was thinking about whether or not this would be helpful for TriMet. Ultimately I thought probably not, since you need a smart phone to read the QR code and if you have a smart phone then you probably already have some other app that's even easier to use than the QR code.
