If you work or have worked for Tri-met, I'm doing independent research on the companies policies and regulations. If you would be willing to talk to take a survey, please get back to me. I'm looking for people who:
Have been asked to forgo safety to meet customer satisfaction.
Have been unable to use any bathroom facilities due to too tight of a schedule.
Have been victims of assault.
Have had to turn down passengers to make schedule.
Have started taking medication for depression/anxiety or alertness.
Have had to work more than 8 hours a day.
Ect.
If you have any information, please get back to me.

This is about me building a case against Trimet, since it's illegal to strike and the drivers are doing this city a huge public service. It's bad enough they get treated by by customers, but then to be treated equally as bad by the employer--unacceptable.
OK, lets have the survey!
I'll be happy to take it, and will circulate it!
Here are my answers to that survey:
Name: Date worked with Tri-Met:
1997-present
Average Pay:
$24.25, I pay $330/mo for my health insurance
What is your overall evaluation of your experience with Tri-Met?
Trimet as a company seems to be steadily going downhill. The most serious problems are intolerant management and very restrictive work rules. Running times are inadequate and recovery times are insufficient on many runs. Equipment on many buses is subpar e.g. defective windshield wipers, defrosters, unusable sun visors, buses with improper cooling in extreme hot conditions have lead me to seeking medical attention, defective seats leading to back injury for others, work shifts that lead to sleep deprivation and overly long days which lead to fatigue for some drivers. Questionable customer policies and overly zealous ADA enforcement against while the management refuses to update its equipment to meet ADA regulations
Did you ever lose a shift due to time restraints?
Not sure what this means?
Have you ever experienced Urinary incontinence due to to time restraints?
I do have an overly sensitive bladder since becoming a bus operator.
Have you ever been assaulted by a passenger or experience any bio-hazards?
I have never been assaulted but have experienced bio hazards in the form of vomit.
Have you every been sexually assaulted?
No
Have you been asked by Tri-Met to forgo safety to meet a customer complaint?
Not sure
Did you start taking medication during your time with Tri-Met?
Yes
Did you incur other medical complication's due to working with Tri-Met?
Don’t know.
Do you know your life expectancy after you retire?
Have no idea
Have you had to work more than eight hours a day consistently?
I do not, never decided to go to full time status as the job seemed overly hazardous to one’s health during the training program
Did you have any other issues while working with Tri-Met?
Trimet has recently been impinging on my civil rights while off the job, this has only been occurring in the last year however.
