The problem with a lot of this is the drivers who, lets say, "Live outside their means". They want OT, and lots of it, they will do anything to get it. But at the same time they are running their own health into the ground. As long as we have these types of drivers, the workforce will always be smaller, and forced to work harder, cause if these guys can do it, so can you. Management sees the work being filled, they don't see what happens when you go home, or in many cases whats going on out on the road. There needs to be limits on Overtime, even tho it saves money by hiring less, its keep your health care costs up. And when I say limits, I mean limits, not elimination. Extra money here and there is always a hopeful, but one shouldn't be depending on it.
