TriMet's FY2012 budget shows Health and Welfare Benefits as follow: -$18,353 per full-time Union employee -$13,592 per part-time Union enployee -$14,813 per full-time Non-Union employee -$11,215 per part-time Non-Union employee.
By law, these numbers can't be wrong. Your thoughts?

Except that we are NOT getting a 4% COLA, thats false. We have received .07% in Nov, and .06% in Jan, current top pay is $29.13

Since when does trimet worry about breaking the law? They have already proven with the ERB that they think they are above the law.

I have the 'goldent' blue cross.
I have family coverage, which is what all those quotes are for.
MANY EMPLOYEES DO NOT COVER FAMILIES-HENCE RIGHT THERE THE AMOUNTS ARE WRONG.
Back to me, it costs Trimet $1640 a month for my health care package.
BUT-I PAY $330 A MONTH OF THAT COST...
ergo Trimet is paying $15,720 a year for my health benefits.
I made $32k last year so basically Trimet pays half of my salary in health care.
NOW CONSIDER THIS FURTHER:
ABOUT 1/2 OF THE TRIMET UNION EMPLOYEES CHOOSE KAISER!
Which is considerable less than Blue Cross YET
the propaganda being laid out is that EVERYONE IS GETTING THE GOLDEN HEALTH CARE PLAN!
ITS A BALD FACED LIE!
It's that Enron accounting again. They make the numbers work for them and everyone buys it.
