Next con to be cancelled
The "threat" to the red line!
How much you wanna bet that will be cancelled and the MAX red line service will continue as is?
The only reason that was put in there was for TriMet to show that "all service was on the table".
TriMet has absolutely zero intention of reducing any form of MAX service. They very plainly want the bus service to take the hits. That way they can claim that they looked at it, but lo and behold someone cried foul and they decided not to adjust the "popular" service.
That's why each day I have been tweeting the number of riders on the 94 bus south of Barbur TC. So if TrImet wants to claim how unpopular the route is or how few riders there are, I'll just point to Twitter and point out their error. If they want to question my logic...well...they can make sure that there are APCs on each bus that runs the 94. And how many 1400s (the primary fleet used on the 94 line) have APCs installed?
