Trimet completely disrespects its operators

There are numerous problems with these 2900 buses. One of the worst is that the driver heat does not shut off. These are written up constantly but nothing is ever done about it.
When it gets hot out, this causes operators discomfort and makes the job of driving a bus horrible.
There is no reason for this, it can be fixed but its not, ever.

One of my pet peeves was signing low floor buses at merlo garage and then not getting it! The managers answer was 'we don't guarantee the bus' Typical Trimet bullshit answer. The real answer is management just doesn't care.
