What happens when MAX elevators are down?
We have had many problems with elevators lately at Transit Stations. At
most stations with elevators, there is no alternative access to the
train. Therefore, people with wheelchairs or walkers are forced to take
the bus to another max stop

When the station's elevators are down, you may ride to the next station and use its elevators. That's Try-Met policy.
Or if it's a place like Sunset, you ride to the next station, switch trains and ride back to use the elevator on the other side.
