The truth is TriMet hasn't been named the nation’s top transit agency, as the billboards attached to the outside of 168 buses and trains suggest.
In February, U.S. News & World Report named the entire city of Portland -- not just TriMet -- the nation’s “best city for public transportation.” The analysis also praised the Portland Streetcar, the aerial tram, the city’s urban planners, the community’s investments and the number of transit commuters, in addition to TriMet.

It also at the bottom of every email the send out! Buch of horse Shit, can you smell it?
Yup, #1 buses in the nation. #1 bus fleet, #1 bus service, #1 commuter rail system, #1 subway (if you're talking about Subway restaurants, maybe!), #1 in developer handouts...
Does anyone even read the US News and World Report website? This blog may get more hits than their site. Yet another shameless example of self promotion that does nothing to enhance "the total transit experience".
