The bus saves the day!

TriMet contributed this fine soldier, fleet 1780, to bail out the Streetcar.

They probably commandeered it from a in service route!

Doesn't appear they did, the route/run says 1167, there is no route 11.

Hard to know for sure since they could have changed that sign.
In any event it is a common occurrence.

Well, I think if they changed the sign, the operator was done with their run then, otherwise who has got the time to change it, or think about changing it...or in some cases....care. Im wondering if they sent out a Report Operator on the job here.

Unknown, however it is not uncommon for management to hijack a bus off a in service route to serve the rail that has gone down.

Whether it happened in this case is not known, probably not, but I think the code for streetcar is 11.

The streetcar is "route" 93. I think 11 (and 21) is generally used for extra buses that go out for things like bus bridges.
