I've heard rumors that Macfarlane has been in Salem and trying to get legislative action to resolve his labor issues.
The sort of action that SCOTT WALKER got from his legislator.
Now we have some possible confirmation that this could indeed be in the works.
The Legislature compounded TriMet's woes several years ago. Now the governor, the Legislature, TriMet's board and the transit union leadership need to work together to fast-track a solution. As for the no-strike status, remember, what the Legislature gives, the Legislature can take away.
