Who knows how much damage TRIMET does to roadways with chains that are unnecessary
Ya know, I have been to Sweden in the winter a few times now and NONE of their busses run with chains. The bus line I rode to get back to a friends apartment on top of a hill had no issues with tackling the 20-30° grade with packed snow and ice. Not one slip, with an articulated too!
Sure, the bus had snow tires on them as required by law after Nov 1. Never chains though.

SNOW TIRES?
How did our management ever miss that idea?
Our NF 40' low floors never use chains, they have snow tires as well.
