Milwaukie, Oregon – A Milwaukie man’s legal battle with Tri Met
won’t be resolved for at least a few more months. A jury trial was set
for today. But Bill Corti says he’s been told its been delayed until
November because a judge was not available.
He says light rail construction has cut off access by car to a home
he rents out. Tenants now have to park a block away. Corti says Tri
Met’s told him ” they’re leaving it to me to figure out how to get
access into it after they’re finished with construction. They say its a
valuation matter to them and they said they’re leaving it up to me to
figure out how to get access into it.”
He wants Tri Met to foot the bill for building a new driveway to the
home on S.E. Monroe St.Tri Met says it does not comment on pending
litigation.
