Looking at the description of what "obamacare" actually is, I don't see much to dislike*. Seems like the conservatives are doing a great job of demonizing a plan that is basically just a set of consumer protection laws (ex: eliminating the denial of coverage based on preexisting conditions; allowing children to stay on your plan until they turn 26, etc). I think almost all Americans would appreciate it, if they understood it.
Here's something you might be interested in:
Ensuring Free Choice. Workers meeting certain requirements who cannot afford the coverage provided by their employer may take whatever funds their employer might have contributed to their insurance and use these resources to help purchase a more affordable plan in the new health insurance Exchanges. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about coming improvements for small employers.
* Other than the fact that I would have rather seen them go to full single-payer.
