Neil will always agree to do some follow up, or send somebody to do followup, but then the issue is never heard from again.
The TriMet board meetings are clearly a stage show, something that is done because they are required to go through the motions.

I noticed that long time ago. Theres never any debate, never any follow up. They are doing it only because they have to, they don't care, they are not accountable to the public since the public can not remove them thru a process we all value called voting. Thats why Jon Hunt gets shut down, they just dont care. Get the petition circulating to make them an elected body, thats the only way your going to get change out of it all at this point.
I wouldn't say there is "never" any follow-up, but I would say that we often see people come back to the board meeting to complain that whatever follow-up was done was insufficient and the issue remains a problem.
