IS IT OVER?

Lane Jensen-the accused
It appears that there has been some sort of deal reached between the fascists and Lane Jensen. This means Lane won't get to prove he's totally innocent

The 'victim'

Chris Marin-the defense

From what I understand the plea deal allows the whole case to be dropped if he stays out of trouble for a specified period of time which is to be determined.
I'm not in Lanes shoes so its not right for me to judge this but from where I sit its a victory for Trimet since they did get rid of him, which is what they wanted.

They win again, they always win

He's not an activist.

The DA knew he wasn't going to win and Roberta is tired of having her name thrashed around and couldn't take it anymore.

Tri Met has bigger problems ahead. In the next two years more cities are going to want to pull out and Kithaber is going to loose. Some group will sue because minorities are not being served because of the reduction of service.

Not advice; however, if I were Lane I might consider another city to live in and maybe move to as a way to serve my Muzzled Time Out period out of sight, and under the radar.

During this time I would study the law and maybe become an expert in the field of e-Blogging communications.

Nobody is more knowledgeable of falling, then those who have fallen the hardest.

I think Lane just realized that any further acts of fighting TriMet could have adverse effects on his future. He put up a good fight, but it's time for him to consider more important things. He's got 60-70 years of a future to think about here.

Maybe now people will stop acting like Lane is the victim considering he's sent threatening and intimidating messages to many people not just in TriMet, but in the blogosphere.
